Setting Competitive Standards...Measuring Progress

Partners for Progress of Greater St. Charles (PfP) was created to embrace the qualities that make
St. Charles County one of the top areas in the St. Louis region.  Founded in 2001,  PfP continues its goal to make Greater St. Charles a nationally renowned most livable community.  PfP focuses on the primary indicator areas of Economy, Education, Health, and Quality of Place. Our newest area of concentration is GenTHRIVE, which is looking at the generational demographic shift underway in the community and around the U.S., and fostering ways for St. Charles County to thrive across generations.

Throughout the Year...

PfP hosts and co-sponsors a wide range of impactful events and programs. Don't miss the What if We Could...2030 St. Charles County conference on June 29th at Lindenwood which will explore what we need to do to prepare for the County's future in 4 areas: Communities and Housing, Health and Longevity, Entrepreneurship and Jobs of the Future.

Every spring, there is the STEM Celebration Breakfast in March and Cowbell Uncorked: OFFROAD race through Missouri Wine Country in late spring.

We are also pleased to help promote STEM Summer Camps at locations throughout St. Charles County. These fun-filled and hands-on “techie” camps attracted more than 1,400 students in summer 2014.

Every fall, thousands of cowbells are rung from historic
St. Charles to New Town at St. Charles during the popular MO’ Cowbell Marathon. In October 2014, 5,000 runners took part, and the race and festivities continue growing every year.

In December, PfP and the Economic Development Center of St. Charles County co-host an Annual Holiday Networking Gala that has become a local tradition with 300+ participants.
